Review: Dead but Not Forgotten: Stories from the World of Sookie Stackhouse
I was a little nervous about reading this book given the last several entries in the series. However, I have to admit, that I was pleasantly surprised and found the book generally good and even better than the last few written by Charlaine Harris herself. I wondered with each new tale like those of Quinn, Mustapha Khan, Kenya and others, if maybe the salvation of the Sookie-verse all along was letting other authors have their way with the characters. I wouldn’t mind staying in this universe as long as the set up was still the same: Charlaine editing and other authors doing the writing. I will be forever grateful for her creation of the universe, but something went terribly wrong right after the Faerie war.
